General Assembly
The General Assembly is the main deliberative, policymaking and representative organ of the SASVEPM. Comprising all Member of the SASVEPM, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion making that promote issues including veterinary epidemiology and preventive medicine in the Southern African region.
- The General Assembly meets annually during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which takes place at the Annual Congress.
- During the AGM the General Assembly discusses and votes for any changes to policy, elects new Executive Committee members and chooses the location of the next annual congress.
